![]() While always written as a cyclops, in the first series and Vedra and Krimon, Arcta was illustrated with two smaller eyes, a trait changed in the the series two illustrations, where Arcta is first illustrated with a singular eye. Arcta sustains himself on plant roots that grow exclusively in the highest peaks of the range, packed with energy and allowing the Beast to seemingly sustain himself on them alone. ![]() ![]() He makes his home on a rocky plateau commonly referred to as the Place of Eagles. He is responsible for helping keep the people safe from natural disasters, such as rockfalls and earthquakes, although when enchanted was directly responsible for their creation and risked destroying the settlements of the mountains. The Mountain Giant guards the Northern Mountains, a modestly populated mountain range in northern Avantia that acts as a trading hub and mining location. Parts of his fur on his head are tied in braids, a rarity as few Beasts mimic human culture other than weapons developed by them. ![]() Based on the cyclops originating from Greek and Roman myth, Arcta has a singular eye set in his head, otherwise sporting a humanoid mouth. Arcta is one of the Good Beasts of Avantia. ![]()
